Classy Pups was wonderful to work with purchasing little Finn, now Ranger, a toy poodle boy. He’s gorgeous and laid back, just as described by Mrs. Yoder, and already much loved. They were very professional and my vet was impressed as well.

Amazing Puppies

I drove from Illinois 4 hours to pick up my puppy. The pictures and videos of him as a newborn puppy was all it took to drive that far. I got updates on my puppy weekly. When I arrived this adorable puppy came to my arms. He was already eating solids. They had started his potty training. He was in excellent health. He was welcomed home by my cats who fell in love with him. His personality is exactly the same as the new born puppy videos. I’ve enjoyed being able to share his pictures and read about the other puppies. This makes us feel like family. I highly recommend Classy Pups. You may have to drive far, but the ride home with your puppy is pure joy.

Doing Great

We took Lance to the vet after bringing him home and the vet asked if we gave him a bath. I told him we didn’t and he said, “This is the cleanest puppy I have ever seen that has come from a breeder. I can tell that they do a great job.” We absolutely love Lance and he is doing great! Thank you so much.

Awesome experience!

We have been looking for months trying to find a Shih Tzu from a reputable breeder and came across Classy-Pups. There was a litter of 3 that appeared, and we jumped at the opportunity to select Zane as our new puppy. The experience of working with Doren was fantastic. From weekly photos to being greeted at the door with our new puppy. We received a folder with all his paperwork including photos of him since he was born. During our visit to the vet they shared the photos with their team and were impressed that all shots were up to date and he was in excellent condition. Loving Breeder

We are so incredibly excited to have found this breeder from the AKC website. This family breeder is a blessing, we were blessed to find them nearby. We were able to see the puppies in person and see the breeding area’s. Very clean and very professional. They take the time with these puppies to socialize and train them. Conscientious, caring breeder of quality pups.

I saw Adelle on the website, but due to my schedule, had to wait a week to pick her up. The multiple communications I had to have with Doreen about pick up never seemed to frustrate her, which is saying something. Because I paid a deposit, Adelle was vetted on Monday for what was eventually a Friday pick up. When I arrived, Adelle was ready for me: groomed, happy, healthy, and full of energy! I was provided with complete veterinary and breeding records. I was also given a blanket with Adelle’s litter mate scent on it to comfort her, a toy, a small bag of the dog food she had been eating, akc registration information, microchip registration information and recommendations about feeding schedule, collar, leash and crate. Doreen called the day after I took Adelle home to check in, and was very understanding that I could not get Adelle in to see a vet for several weeks even though for the health of the dog, they request that the dog be seen within seventy two hours. Shipshewana is a three hour drive from my home in Indianapolis, and it was absolutely worth the trip to find a healthy, well bred toy poodle who had been raised by people who clearly cared so much about the health and well being of their dogs.

I believe things happen for a reason. I just lost my 14 year old shih Tzu. A girl named Charlee, she was my best friend and my whole world and she had only been gone 3 weeks, I missed her so much and so did my boy shih Tzu Casper. We were so depressed. But then I found Classy Pups and saw this little face that I couldn’t get out of my head…Sailor, a Maltipoo, on the website. I reached out to Dorene and asked if I could visit. Long story short, and trust me so many tears recently for a loss that will forever always have a large part of my heart, but I wasn’t sure I could find any part of my heart to love another furbaby, but I did. As soon as I met little Sailor, and I met Dorene, The decision was made. It’s been a whole week since Sailor has agreed to let me be his human. And Casper and I are loving him every day. I have never dealt with a breeder before, I had no idea what to expect, I feel like God knew what I needed before I did and made sure I met Dorene and Sailor. Dorene loves her puppies, and her puppies love her. When You walk into their home, it feels like “happiness.” The puppies have amazing places to play and run around with the other puppies and they are rambunctious and silly and Dorene is right there with them and she is always calm and smiling and pleasant and you just get the feeling like the puppies she is raising will come to your home happy and healthy and she will love to see occasional pictures of the furbaby she is entrusting you to take care of because she loves them too. I took Sailor to the Vet a couple days later and he is perfect. Of course I would love him no matter what, But by perfect I mean he is completely up to date on all his shots, he did great at the vet, he was around several people and animals and he did great. I attribute all of that to his first Human, Dorene. ❤️ Thank you Classy Pups and most importantly Thank you Dorene, thank you so much for my Sailor. He is so ornery, he is very happy, he terrorizes Casper relentlessly, he has learned to bark at basically nothing out the window thanks to Casper but they believe they are my protectors now so I don’t mind. He has tried chewing on just about everything despite numerous trips to Pet Smart for chew toys but he is learning the word no haha. He is so very smart, he is comfortable around people, he is healthy and he is just the sweetest boy. Thank you so much Dorene for loving the puppies first. You have done the most amazing job. Please continue to do what you do. People who get to have a puppy from Classy Pups will be so very lucky they do.

My amazing pocket pup! “Chewy”

Doreneis amazing to work with. We searched for awhile to find a new baby. We had lost our 12 year old Shih Tzu in an unexpected illness. Our new little boy has been a joy!. She made the process smooth and simple. It is quite scary to deal with online sites, with so much fraud being out there these days. Dorene was completely informative, upfront and communicative. She eased all my fears and gave me information and advice. I love that they do a full spectrum health care check prior to them going to their Fur-ever home, to ease our fears of any issues. When we picked up our new baby boy (who was originally named Moose) Now named Chewbacca (Chewy) She gave us some dog food and an Awesome folder with all his info and pictures of his weekly growth since birth. We will now call it his baby book, that I plan to keep adding to. That effort shows me they care about their pups and that they are going to a good home. I like that Dorene emailed me some info prior to picking up our little guy, it included a contract, which shows me they are completely above board, and an itemized list of items to get to be off on a good start with our new puppy. We have an 18yr old, 14 yr old and recently lost our 12 year old, so it had been many years for us to go back to the puppy stage. I can not say enough how grateful I am to have found Dorene and Myron through the AKC website and that we were fortunate enough to have found Chewy! He has been a blessing in so many ways. Chewy has become my work buddy and goes to work with me every day. As seen in his picture, I think he was ready for Mom to take him home. 🙂

George

Our family looked for many months and had no luck to find a male Shih Tzu.. I immediately fell in love with George on her website. I found Dorene and she was so amazing with walking us through the process. She talked with me for an hr and explained all I had to do prepare for his arrival. I got photos of him and updates weekly. The day came to pick him up and I was so excited! We arrived at her beautiful home and i felt an immediate sense of zen. It was so peaceful. She was standing at the door with George in her arms. It was love at first site! She was so thorough on all her paperwork and gave us extra food! He has been home for a week and she has continued to check in on George and support us as a family With any tips we needed! We are so blessed we found Dorene and her family. I have talked about her to everyone! I will adopt again and have a feeling my family will too!

Classy Pups was our breeder for our newest member of the family, a Shih Tzu! Dorene was just great! Very professional throughout the entire process, and let us know what to expect along the way. My Experience

I want to take a moment to share my experience about purchasing my lovely puppy from Dorene and Classy Pups. I have been wanting a dog for several years and had made up my mind to work with Dorene, mainly because I was looking for a family breeder who breeds champion bloodlines. It can be difficult to trust the process especially when you live out of state. Dorene was amazing at communicating at all levels. After the first few phone calls, I was completely confident in my choice. From the very moment that I spoke to her, I was eased by her calm, gentle and honest demeanor. It was evident when I met my puppy at 18 weeks of age, that he had adapted to a calm environment. He too, is calm and sweet and transmits peace. I attribute that to the way he was cared for while in Dorene’s care. My puppy is named Duncan and he is truly a blessing. I will recommend Dorene to anyone who wants a lovely experience while waiting for the arrival of their beautiful and healthy puppy.

We cannot thank Classy Pups and the Yoder family enough for our precious little Shih Tzu, Sparkle! She truly is a special dog (really–everyone who meets her says so)! Sweet, spunky, smart, and just beautiful–we always always get compliments when we take Sparkle out for walks. Best Puppy Ever

We searched the internet for weeks looking for a Maltipoo puppy. We found Classy Pups site and looked at the available pups and read everything about them. Doreen answered my call and I was immediately impressed with what she had to say. A meeting was arranged . My husband and I were impressed with how she and her husband and family ran their business. They are knowledgeable; friendly; and very personable. We could tell they loved what they do and they love and care for their dogs. We brought Kasper home and he was a delight right from the moment he entered our home. He is healthy; bright; energetic. He loves everyone that comes into the house. He loves to play with his toys and anyone that he sees. He learned quickly the layout of our home and what door was used to go out to the bathroom. He knows what “no” means. He likes to be held and will sleep right on your lap. He isn’t crazy about going in the crate at night, but is getting better each night. Quarantine Pal

Getting Finnick at the beginning of the quarantine was the best decision I’ve ever made. He is an affectionate and sweet little boy. He’s great with people, all dogs, and even met a pet pig. Now one bark just plenty of tail wags!

Impressed is an Understatement

We drove 16 hours thru a winter storm to pickup our puppy and it was worth every minute! He is such a beautiful puppy with the perfect little black nose, black halo eyes, all-white hair, floppy ears and sassy personality. He came to us healthy and happy. We are so very impressed with Classy Pups’ standard of breeding. Dorene has been so considerate with helping us get this little fella settled in. We truly feel we have been blessed.

Compassionate, Considerate and just plain AMAZING!!!

I have had Shih Tzus in the past and I recently lost my last fur baby as well as my grand-fur baby. So, I was very heartbroken and missing the pitter-patter of little paws. I had been following Classy Pups Website for over three years and finally decided that I couldn’t go on without a fur baby in my life. I emailed Dorene a couple of times and finally went down on a Tuesday to see if one of the babies had a connection with me. Well, it wasn’t hard to decide once I saw tiny little Paris, now Bella Rosa. I love that when I came back on that Saturday with my husband to pick her up we had found a BREEDER THAT IS ABOVE ALL BREEDERS! From her care of the animals themselves to answering questions and everything in between Classy Pups is AMAZING! They are truly one of a kind, from their broad spectrum of health checks to the very informative folder that has a plethora of information. It is clear to see that Classy Pups loves what they do.

Arlo and Finn

We could tell from our initial interaction with Dorene that she and her family have a true love for their puppies. We purchased two Maltese, first Arlo and then Finn about a year and half later. Before we could bring our little ones home Dorene would send pictures and updates at least once a week. She was very accessible and responsive to our questions. The perfect addition to our family!

Bentley (“Hudson”) is a perfect addition to our family. He is our pandemic puppy who we picked up on March 13, 2020. We have had Bentley for the past two weeks, and he is such a joy and a reflection of his well breeding! This is a great little dog who obviously was treated with love and care the first eight weeks of his life. Our experience with Classy Pups was enjoyable and pleasant.
